Nicole Pitcher is one of the three writers hired by Cochrane to produce Plain Language Summaries (PLSs). She has a multidisciplinary background: after training in history and health policy, Nicole completed a doctorate in epidemiology. She has ten years of experience in conducting and disseminating systematic reviews. Nicole first worked on Cochrane Plain Language Summaries (PLSs) when she joined Cochrane France in 2018 and oversaw the translation of PLSs into French. Since May 2020, she has enjoyed meeting the challenges of writing and standardising PLSs.
