Cochrane UK and Cochrane Ireland are hosting a free online workshop for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals based in the UK and Ireland.

Please note that this workshop is now fully booked. You are still welcome to register if you wish to be placed on a reserves list.

Come and join us on Tuesday 14th June, from 14:00 to 16:00, for a practical session where you will learn more about systematic reviews and improve your understanding of evidence-based practice.

To maximise the session, this document provides a brief background on how to navigate a Cochrane systematic review, and about the tools that can be used to ‘appraise’ systematic reviews. During the workshop, we will provide more hands-on and practical information based on two examples of Cochrane systematic reviews that may be relevant to your clinical practice.

Facilitators:

  • Rebecca Gould, Cochrane UK Fellow
  • James Garrard, Cochrane UK Fellow
  • Anne Matthews, Full Professor of Nursing, Dublin City University
  • Sinéad Hynes, Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, National University of Ireland, Galway
