We require a methodologist with experience in systematic reviews to join the editorial teams of the Cochrane Bone, Joint and Muscle Trauma and Cochrane Wounds Groups at the University of Manchester. You will support the production of systematic reviews in the fields of musculoskeletal injuries, wounds and healthcare acquired infection. You will be responsible for providing methodological input at various stages of the editorial process of both Cochrane protocols and reviews. This is an editorial role that will complement the work of other members of the editorial teams in supporting the timely production of high quality Cochrane reviews.
You will be educated to postgraduate level with healthcare research or scientific experience or equivalent, along with excellent organisational and communication skills. Experience in quantitative research and research methodology and conducting systematic reviews, ideally Cochrane reviews, is essential. Knowledge of relevant scientific and medical terminology and evidence based health care is desirable.
