The March for Science is a celebration of passion for science and the many ways science serves our global communities.
Cochrane officially supports and is in partnership with the March for Science. This event will be held on Saturday, 14 April 2018. The March is being organized in Washington, DC, with satellite marches in cities around the world, to champion the science that upholds the common good.
In 2017, more than one million people around the world gathered together in the largest event for science advocacy in history. In 2018, we unite again to hold our elected and appointed officials responsible for enacting equitable evidence-based policies that serve all communities and science for the common good.
The March for Science is a celebration of passion for science and the many ways science serves our global communities. It advocates for robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity, and for political leaders and policy makers to enact non-partisan, evidence-based policies in the public interest.
The March for Science is interested in hearing from Cochrane contributors who would like to organize a march, speak at an existing march, or contribute in other ways. Here is the full list of marches.
