Challenges in study identification: diagnostic test accuracy reviews and prognosis reviews

Cochrane has been producing Diagnostic Test Accuracy (DTA) reviews for several years and reviews of prognosis studies for a shorter period of time.  This discussion workshop explored the differences in study identification between reviews of effects and safety and reviews of diagnostic test accuracy studies and prognosis. The facilitators discussed the challenges of search strategy design for these topics and which information resources should be searched.

This session was recorded during the 'Virtually Cochrane' conference, hosted by Cochrane UK and Cochrane Ireland, 20-22nd April 2021.
