Cochrane has been producing Diagnostic Test Accuracy (DTA) reviews for several years and reviews of prognosis studies for a shorter period of time. This discussion workshop will explore the differences in study identification between reviews of effects and safety and reviews of diagnostic test accuracy studies and prognosis. We will discuss the challenges of search strategy design for these topics and which information resources should be searched.
