Carolyn Hughes

Carolyn is a scientific writer and editor with over 25 years of experience working in different scientific and healthcare environments. She currently works as a medical writer for the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre, where she also leads on plain language. She has been a Cochrane consumer (volunteer) with the Cochrane Skin Group for over 10 years, and has been a consumer author on several Cochrane Reviews. Carolyn is on a part-time secondment to work on Cochrane's Plain Language Summaries pilot project.
