Cochrane UK award recipients (archive)

In the past, the UKCC has honoured a number of individuals who have made a special contribution to the work of the Centre and Cochrane activities in the UK, Ireland and Middle East. Past recipients have been:

  • Martha Eliya, for her contributions as an Aubrey Sheiham Scholar in 2010.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2010

  • Julian Higgins, for his contribution to promoting Cochrane methods and activities.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2000

  • Shirley Mankell, for her contribution as a Consumer who has helped the Centre.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2010

  • Jane Noyes, for all her contributions in helping to organize the UK and Ireland based Contributors' Meetings (Manchester and Cardiff).
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2010

  • Yanina Sguassero, for her contribution as an Aubrey Sheiham Scholar in 2004.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2010

  • Nandi Siegfried, for promoting Cochrane activities in South Africa.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2007

  • Gill Gyte, for her contribution in leading support for UK Consumers.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2004

  • Fiona Alderdice, for her contribution to promoting Cochrane activities in Ireland.
    Awarded the title of Fellow of the UK Cochrane Centre in 2001

  • Tom Jefferson, for his contributions as a visiting Research Fellow, in the early days of the UK Cochrane Centre.
