Trial search Co-ordinator

Part Time : 29.2 hours per week (80%FTE)

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £33,353 to £40,313 per annum, pro rata, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Trial Search co-ordinator will contribute to the publication of systematic reviews in the Field of heart disease, working with the Cochrane Heart Group.

The appointee will work closely with review authors in identifying studies for inclusion in their reviews and will take responsibility for maintaining and developing the Group’s Specialised Register of trails.

This post is funded until 31st March 2017 in the first instance. Further funding to support the post may be available.

Education to degree level with a qualification in librarianship or information science, or equivalent.  Experience in designing search strategies and conducting searches using appropriate databases and software.  

Previous experience or knowledge of Cochrane and/or the Cochrane Library is desirable.
